So, you want to know more about me, eh?

Well, as I said, I got a job as a photographer on local newspapers as an 18 year old in 1978

and I've been a professional photographer ever since.

These days I own and run Manchester Wedding Photography from my little studio in Culcheth,

shooting great Weddings & Civil Ceremonies across

Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire,

Yorkshire, North-Wales, The Lake District, The UK .. The World!

I don't just shoot Weddings though.

I'm kept pretty busy with Portraits, Public relations, Commercial and Industrial work, too.

Check out Martin O'Neill Photography for all that 'other stuff'.

Anyway, my career in a nutshell, and why you should choose me as your Photographer..

Well, because I'm good, that's why! I'm relaxed, I'm confident, I'm experienced .. and I'm fun.

I'm not some new kid on the block who's just bought an expensive digital camera.

I've photographed everyone from Take That to Lord Sugar, via Richard Branson, Joan Collins, Mohammed Ali,

Joy Division, George Best, Lady Di and Bet Lynch (Ask your Mum)

I once asked Margaret Thatcher for her autograph during a photoshoot - and got it -

and I was once commissioned to be .. ..The Official Photographer to The Queen.

As I said, I started my professional life as a staff Press Photographer in 1978,

working on local newspapers for 4 years, and then I was a freelance press photographer

for the Manchester Evening News for 18 years.

During that time I also shot hundreds of regular commissions for scores of other

top-end, blue-chip companies, newspapers and magazines including,

as a (very) small taster... OK! Magazine • The Sunday Times • You Magazine

Woman â€¢ Woman's Own • EasyJet • The National Lottery • The Royal Mail

Granada TV and IBM

I've covered international newspaper assignments as far-afield as Libya, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and The United States

Over the years I've brought the cool style of

MANCHESTER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

to literally hundreds of Weddings, for tons of great people,

at oodles of top-notch venues, including...

Mottram Hall, Crewe Hall, The Inn on the Lake, Peckforton Castle,

Quarry Bank Mill, Styal Lodge, Mere Court Hotel, Thornton Manor,

Heaton House Farm, Statham Lodge and even .... The Houses of Parliament.

(A Lord and a Baroness, no less)

I am personally recommended by Manchester's Victoria Warehouse,

Willington Hall and Hollin Hall Country House Hotel in Cheshire ..

.. and my Mum! (Thanks, Mum! I love you, too)

And, just so you know, I have a great rapport with people, a fab sense of humour

and I'm a quick flasher .. er, fast worker.

My total professionalism will ensure our photography together will be rewarding,

memorable .. and refreshingly enjoyable! You'll love it, basically.

Don't forget, I'm passionate about my photography, and offer a fantastic service

at a great price, with - important point, here -

full insurance and a network of back-up photographers.

So, about you ..Well, you're reading this, so I already know you're a chilled, modern couple

looking for fresh, exciting coverage of their Wedding from a laid-back,

humourous, creative snapper with a minimum of group shots and no twee soppy poses.

You'll want to get on with your Big Day and get it captured in a way you'll love to remember forever.

RELAX! You've found Martin O'Neill Wedding Photography.

If you'll allow me a moment of self-indulgence,

this was actually written about me in a newspaper ..

"Martin's relaxed approach often serves to make him invisible, allowing his subjects,

whether bride and groom or otherwise, to carry on in the most natural way.

It is the mark of a true artist...not to dominate proceedings but to quietly search

for those rare moments that exude character and tell a fuller story."

Blimey! Anyway, that's enough about me.

Told you it was the 'Long Version'...
