Photo-Books

by Martin O'Neill

Wrong Way Wround Books present ..

Street Photography from Eccles, Salford & Manchester in the 1970s and '80s.

Portrait & Travel Photography

Martin O'Neill was introduced to photography in 1973.
Aged 13, he joined his school camera club and decided early on that he wanted to be a press-photographer.
He began to roam his local streets with camera in hand, artistically documenting everything around him.
These books are a collection of those photographs, compiled into a series of amusing and affordable (£10) editions.
(Ps: He achieved his ambition, getting a job on a local newspaper when he was just 18 years old.).

"Just finished all your books.
I can now pronounce you officially as the LS Lowry of Salford
and environs of the 1970s and '80s. Really enjoyed them.
(PS - I'm a great fan of Lowry!)
